How to wear it

Over an oxford shirt with chinos for work, or with a tee and jeans at the weekend. Zipped up under a puffer or an overcoat in proper cold. Beige and green are the ones that look most expensive.

Fit note: Cut to Asian sizing — most people take one to two sizes up from their usual.

Care

Hand wash cold and dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

These run small. Cut closer to Asian sizing than US or EU. As a rule, go up one to two sizes from your usual, so a US small takes L and a US medium takes XL.

Ribbed and stretch fabrics have more give and are more forgiving. Woven and tailored pieces less so, and worth sizing up on.

Cold machine wash inside out on a gentle cycle. Reshape while damp and dry flat, away from direct heat. Cool iron on the reverse if needed.

Skip the tumble dryer. It is the fastest way to lose the shape, and roughly halves how long the piece lasts.
