It should not. The core is slow-rebound memory foam rather than loose fibre fill. Fibre packs down permanently once the clusters compress; memory foam gives under weight and reforms when you lift your head off it.

You will notice it feels firmer for the first few nights while the foam relaxes to room temperature and to your shape. That is the foam settling, not flattening.

Memory foam holds more heat than fibre does, so we will not tell you it sleeps cold. The contoured shape leaves air channels between the zones that fibre pillows do not have, and the knit cover breathes better than the foam itself.

If you run hot at night, take the cover off and wash it regularly, and avoid stacking a heavy pillowcase over it.

The cover is. Unzip it, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, and air dry it flat. Do not tumble dry it on high, which shrinks the knit.

The foam core is not washable and should never be soaked or put in a machine. Water breaks down the foam structure and it will not dry through. Spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry fully before putting the cover back on.

That is what it is built for. The centre dips to cradle your head when you are on your back, and the raised outer wings are taller to fill the gap between ear and shoulder when you roll onto your side.

Stomach sleepers are the exception. Any contoured pillow sits too high for sleeping face down, and this one is no different.

New memory foam has a faint chemical smell from being compressed and sealed for shipping. Unbox it, take the cover off, and leave it in a ventilated room for 24 to 48 hours before you sleep on it. The smell fades on its own and is not harmful.

Orders leave within 2 business days. Delivery usually takes 7 to 15 days depending on where you are, and you get tracking as soon as it ships.

Sleep on it for 30 nights. Pillows take a week or two to judge fairly, so give it time rather than deciding on night one. If it is still not right, contact us within 30 nights of delivery and we will sort out a return.
